The Chamber does a great job in serving the Seacoast business community, but there is still room for improvement. That was the general opinion of more than 160 participants who took the most current Chamber Membership Survey.
The survey was designed to assess member perception of the Chamber’s program of work, communications, effectiveness and image; and provide opportunities for feedback.
Respondents were made up of mostly business owners who have been Chamber members for 5 years or less. The most important Chamber benefits were networking, working through the Chamber to benefit the community, a presence on the Chamber’s website and referrals. Most all agree that the Chamber provides good value for their membership dollars and that the Chamber does a good job of supporting the business community.
The Chamber thanks all those who participated in the survey, some of whom came away from the process with rewards from a drawing courtesy of member businesses. M.L. Hannay, M.L. Hannay & Associates, won a dinner for two from Pesce Blue; Paul Careno, Careno Construction Company, received a Party Cruise for 10 courtesy of the Isles of Shoals Steamship Co.; and Marjorie Kolkin, Compass Systems, won cooking classes from Attrezzi.
